Mother’s Day 2016

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Saturday 5th March for our Mother’s day event.

Everyone had great fun dressing up for the photo booth, and some great cards and pictures were created!

Shopping Susie was also on hand to meet and greet our younger visitors!

See our Facebook page for a selection of photos from the day (Mother’s Day photos)

Our next Kids Club event is a Sand Art workshop on Saturday 19th March.

Half Term Fun!

February Half Term saw the start of Shopping Susie’s Kids club events for 2016.

On Tuesday 16th and Thursday the 18th, two face painters and a balloon modeller were in the Centre and on Saturday 20th, a Creators and Racers workshop took place – allowing children to use their imagination to create, then race, their cars! Construction man was also on hand for photo opportunities.

The next event is taking place on 5th March. Help make Mum’s Day buy using our free photo booth and craft workshop to make a personalised card.

For full details of events in the Centre, please keep an eye on our Facebook page.

TJ Hughes

Following the opening of TJ Hughes in September 2015, the store is continuing to change the face of retailing in Oldham.

The cladding work and signage has now been completed, giving a fresh new look to the Town Square fascia.

TJ Hughes will be visible from the new cinema development – the town’s fantastic new civic focal point, due to open later this year.

Roughyeds 16th January 2016

Roughyed fans met their promotion heroes in the Centre on Saturday 16th January.

The League Leaders’ Shield and the League One Championship Rose Bowl were on show as Oldham rugby league stars signed programmes, autograph books and shirts.

The club mascot, Roary the Roughyed, was also in the Centre as we are sponsoring him when the new Championship season gets under way next month.
