Centre Update July 2020

The Spindles Town Square team wish to thank the public for their ongoing support and understanding during the lockdown period.

Following the Government’s announcement to re-open non-essential stores we have been working hard to make necessary changes throughout the shopping centre to ensure we protect our staff and customers.

Therefore, we would appreciate your continued support in respecting Government’s advice to adhere to social distancing when visiting the centre:-

  • Keep a distance of 2m between yourself and others on the malls and in stores
  • Keep left where possible (follow the arrows)
  • only using card payments and contactless where possible (sign up for Auto Pay to use contactless parking)
  • Use hand sanitiser stations throughout the Centre.

We have implemented a one-way system throughout the centre and have an occupancy alert system in place, meaning we can monitor the number of people in the Centre so you can stay a safe 2 metres distance from other members of the public and staff.

Please follow the guides on the floor and familiarise yourself with the queue markers outside each store.

On Monday 15th June you will be able to access the centre via the main entrances but there will be no access via Debenhams on George Street / Level 6 until further notice.

Individual store opening times will vary day by day, so please check with retailers they are open before you travel.

From Friday 24th July, all customers need to wear a face mask when visiting the shops in the Centre.

The escalators, lifts and stairs will be in use, please familiarise yourself with the guidance displayed before use.

Please be kind to our staff, we are here to help you and ask that you follow any guidance they may be offering.

Thank you, stay safe and stay alert.
