Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre are continuing to sponsor the Player of the Month award for Oldham Athletic Football Club. Each month, three players are selected and then fans are given the opportunity to vote for their favourite Player of the Month via social media and the Clubs website (Oldham Athletic).
The Player’s name is then engraved on to the Spindles Town Square shield which is presented to them on the pitch before one of the home games.
This season, the shield has been awarded to:-

Sam Surridge – September 2018
Tom Hamer – October 2018
Callum Lang – November 2018
Chris O’Grady – December 2018
Peter Clarke – January 2019
Jose Baxter – February 2019
